About Us
Nonprofit leadership and
excellence is a critical element for a healthy and vibrant
community. The professional organizations that form the steering
committee for The Nonprofit Academy are committed to
providing economical training resources for nonprofit community
leaders.
The Nonprofit Academy’s
mission is to:
- Provide nonprofits access to
a wide variety of training classes that help fulfill the nonprofit
mission to the community
-
Provide high caliber and
practical instruction
-
Provide low cost training
opportunities
-
Create and maintain a
schedule that can be planned and budgeted in fiscal cycles
-
Create a training system
that can easily be funded through external sources
The Nonprofit Academy
offers membership-based training.
All who join the consortium will be able to plan training
opportunities at the beginning of the calendar year, work
side-by-side with colleagues in the same line of business, learn
from top-rated practical instructors (both local and regional), and
train in a professional and well-equipped location.
Thirty six training classes
will be offered throughout the year (approximately three/month).
Each consortium Core member will be allocated 24 training
slots to use in the best interest of their organization. One
organization may send 24 people to one class and another may send
one person to 24 classes. It is completely up to the member
organization to decide how their training will be structured.
